Tyrol Basin, located near Mt. Horeb, has long been known around the heartland for its snowboarding. The area annually hosts a summer jam in June that draws up to 500 to 600 riders from all over the Midwest. Tyrol has four lighted trails and a triple chairlift.ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding is allowed on all trails, plus offering one of the best terrain parks mid-America. The park has a variety of features, including a "C" box and a mailbox. The terrain park staff keeps features moving to keep users challenged.
