The Homestead boasts nine downhill ski runs and an Olympic-size ice rink at the base of the slopes. Renowned in the area as the perfect family and learn-to-ski area. The resort recently announced the first stage ground breaking of a multi-million dollar snowmaking investment. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding on all downhill runs and halfpipe.Cross Country Profile: Day and evening cross-country skiing tours. Skis, poles, headlamp, instruction and hot cider are included. Package Includes lesson and rentals. There are also guided day and evening snowshoeing tours on the slopes and surrounding trails of the 15,000-acre resort. LodgingThe Homestead has more than 500 guest rooms and suites on site.
