Swain Ski & Snowboard Center has the unique distinction of being the oldest continuously operating ski area in New York State. Ski its 21 trails with 95 percent snowmaking and a vertical drop of 650 feet. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding is allowed. One terrain park and halfpipe.LodgingSeveral rooms available within walking distance -condos, cabins, and inns; 250 beds within 13 miles, and 160 additional beds within 25 miles.Winter RecreationSnowboarding, racing, adaptive skiing, ski camps, 750-foot snowtubing park, and snowboard park. Additional recreation in the region includes snowmobiling, ice skating, sledding, shopping, ice fishing, wineries, movie theater, and antique shops.
