Sunday River offers a variety of terrain for skiers and boarders, including glades and halfpipes. You always can count on finding snow on the slopes--even if the weather isn't cooperating--as Sunday River has one of the largest snowmaking systems in New England. Want to try out new equipment? Forget your boots? No problem - the rental shop can help. Want to learn or improve your technique? No problem - sign up for a class or clinic. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding is allowed including four terrain parks, two superpipes, 30 rails, and a mini pipe.Cross Country Profile: Cross country trails, along with rental and repair, available nearby.LodgingSeven hundred on-mountain condominiums, 200-bed dorm, 68-room inn, and two hotels with over 200 rooms each. Free on-mountain shuttle, overnight camper parking without hookups.Winter RecreationBars and lounges at the area, several nearby. Cross country, dog sledding, ice fishing, mountaineering, and movies nearby. Ice skating, sleigh rides, indoor and outdoor swimming, sauna, jacuzzi, health club, and snowboarding at the area.
