Tuxedo Ridge at Sterling Forest is within an hour's drive of midtown Manhattan. It is primarily a day area and teaching mountain, and specializes in beginners and families yet has challenging terrain for seasoned skiers or riders.ActivitiesSnowboarding: All slopes are open to snowboarders. Terrain Park elements located throughout mountain. Snowboard and boot rentals, lessons and developmental programs available.LodgingThere are a number of hotels within 15 miles of the resort: Sheraton (Mahwah, NJ), Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, Marriott, Ramada, Wellesly.Winter RecreationSki teams, NASTAR racing, and night skiing. The ski center is adjacent to Sterling Forest State Park which offers winter recreation.
