A great skier's ski area, but not a resort

The best way to characterize SB is that it was overbuilt for the olympics to host the downhill and other events, but then absolutely nothing was done to develop it as a resort after that. Excellent high speed lifts to move you around the mountain. The best on mountain lodges you will ever be in, and probably the best on mountain food you will ever have. It's more a a family day area for people in Ogden, but a must visit place if you are skiing in the SLC area. If you like to ski more than shop, etc, this is the place to go. You will get your money's worth.
