Ski Sundown is close to the Metro market of Hartford. In fact, it is located in New Hartford. The resort was one of the first to welcome snowboardiers in 1984. There are 15 trails, and the resort enjoys 100 percent snowmaking coverage. ActivitiesSnowboarding: All 15 trails are open in addition to terrain features available for both snowboarders and skiers. Lessons offered daily. Three terrain parks, ranging in size and located on different trails than last season.Cross Country Profile: Not available.LodgingOn-site lodging is not available, but numerous country hotels, inns, and bed and breakfasts are located within a 10-mile radius.Winter RecreationDownhill skiing and snowboarding. Fourteen trails lit for night skiing.
