Showdown has grown considerably since it all began in 1936. Starting out with the only rope tow to convey skiers the 1,400 feet to the summit, Showdown now offers skiers a choice of four lifts that access of 600 acres of skiable terrain. There is excellent tree skiing, as well as some steep bump runs. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarders are welcome on all trails. A nice terrain park is maintained as conditions permit; snowboard rentals and lessons available.Cross Country Profile: 20 miles of groomed cross country trails nearby.LodgingSeveral nearby lodging properties offer nice accommodations for reasonable rates.Winter RecreationGroomed trails for cross country skiing and snowmobiling are located nearby.
