  Overview of Powderhorn
Nestled on the edge of the Grand Mesa, just 35 miles from Grand Junction, Powderhorn has exceptional views with a friendly personal atmosphere. In its unique location, where the desert meets the mountain, you’ll find red cliffs, canyon country and vineyards less than an hour away from the snowy slopes. This family resort is best known for its hassle free days and modern base area facilities. You won’t spend your day waiting in long lift lines. Powderhorn is proud of its groomed “corduroy” but there are plenty of challenging bumps and trees to play in too. Powder stashes can be found all day on Powderhorn’s uncrowded slopes.

Activities
Snowboarding: All trails are open to snowboarders. An intermediate terrain park is located under the main lift and a beginner park is available on the beginner hill for the 2004-2005 season. Both of the terrain parks can be seen from the day lodge.
Cross Country Profile: Rentals and groomed trails available six miles south of Powderhorn on top of the Grand Mesa.

Lodging
The Inn at Wildewood, Powderhorn’s only ski-in/out lodging property, offers accommodations for up to 50 guests. The Inn features renovated deluxe and mini-suites. A luxury condo is also available that sleeps up to 10 people. All rooms have a private bath, TV, microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker. You can relax on the spacious deck or in the Family Room and unwind in the hot tub and sauna.
