Mt. Peter, with a vertical of 400 feet, has 69 day/night skiable acres. The runs are almost equally divided between beginner (30 percent), intermediate (35 percent) and advanced (35 percent). There's a learning area with a handle tow, called "The Hub," located a few steps from the lodge. Worst ski mountain especially for kids!

Worst local ski mountain especially for children. We were excited to get out 8 year old back on the slopes this year so we made a reservation for a private lesson. After braving the insane ticket line and we were able to get in a couple of runs before his scheduled lesson. The mountain is small but the lines are ENORMOUS. We get to the ski school early and proceed to be told to wait for 50 minutes past our reserved private lesson time until we are told they overbooked and don't have instructors. Now we have an 8 year old who is freezing and upset and has said he will never ski again. Thanks Mt Peter for ruining skiing for a little kid. Nice job.

All Day Passes

I don't like that the passes are chunked together. 8am - 12:30 pm or 12:30 to 5 pm why don't they just have a pass for the all day boarder or skier who would like to pay just one price instead of having to leave the moantian for another pass mid day? Very inconvientent and expensive to have to do this.
