Description
Lost Valley was the first ski area in Maine to make artificial snow, and now boasts a snowmaking track record of some 40 years. It also boasts one of the largest ski schools in New England. It is a family ski area where you can get in 14 hours of continuous skiing every weekend of the season, giving it the distinction of having the longest ski day in Maine. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Allowed on the whole mountain. The Wild Terrain park has a newly designed rail garden with a collection of rails and funboxes. The resort has enhanced and extended its terrain features for 2005/06.Cross Country Profile: Well-groomed cross country trails.LodgingNo lodging on-site, 12 motels are located nearby.Winter RecreationCross country, adaptive sports.
