Loon Mountain is big - 45 trails wind down 2,100 vertical feet, all spread over 275 exhilarating acres. Ten lifts serve 45 trails. One of them, Bear Claw, is 2.5 miles long.ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding allowed on all open terrain. An in-ground Superpipe and a major terrain park are also available. Rentals and lessons available at both base areas, including the Burton Progression Park that's geared towards beginning park users.Cross Country Profile: Classic cross country skiing on more than 35 kilometers in the Loon base area, as well as trails at the Pemigewasset River.
