The seven mountains of Killington are all interconnected by a system of 87 miles of trails. Killington is the largest ski resort in the eastern United States, with the widest variety of terrain. The vertical drop is 3,050 feet. Killington has one of the nation's most extensive snowmaking system. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding is allowed. Six terrain parks, including early-season features on "Reason," medium terrain features on "Ramshead," and large signature terrain on "Bear Mountain." The SoBe Superpipe on Bear Mountain has 18-foot walls, an 18-degree pitch, and a length of 430-feet. It is considered to be one of the few true Superpipes in the country that is equipped with a rope tow, and can be seen from the lodge deck at the base of the mountain.
