June Mountain is in the Eastern Sierra peaks, past its bigger sister, Mammoth. The runs for beginners are wide open and forgiving and yet there's plenty of intermediate terrain and challenge. It's great for families, too. All the trails eventually end up at the Chalet. The skiable terrain covers 500 acres on a 2,589-foot vertical drop. The top of the mountain is 10,135 feet. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Three terrain parks, a super pipe, and two jib parks. Choose June over Mammoth - Less Crowds & Cheaper!

June Mountain is awesome! Unbelievably pristine conditions and much less crowds than Mammoth. I went up for the weekend and spent one day in Mammoth and the next in June. June Mountain was well worth it, especially with the discounts! I bought my lift tickets from skiforfree for cheap. The promo code BOOTS2 unlocked big discounts for me! You should check it out before you head up to the resort. Also, June has way better lodging and restaurants. Go June!

Best Kept Secret in the West

Unless you are a hot dog skiier, June is fantastic. 20 star!! During the week there are affordable lift packages. Usually no lift lines and often you are on the run by yourself. The mountain and lake views are show stoppers and the runs are so well kept up. The ride to the lodge is on a lift and steep, but perfectly safe. This seems to be the only issue I can see some people having. A small price to pay for an amazing ski trip. For a family and beginners, the best. For seniors, with mid week package and senior discount, you can ski for three days under $100. I can't say enough about June Mountain.

Great Ski Area

Have been to June many times over pst 30 years. Winner for beginners through high intermediates. Heaven for corduroy cruisers. But, anyone with even a touch of vertigo is terrorized or sickened by the ride down off the mountain, on a steep chair, at the end of the day.

I haven't been to June in 30 yrs.I like the small town feeling of June Mt. The staff is real friendly. Lots of nice runs, some left ungroomed with 2' of fresh snow! The fish and chips special of the day hit the spot. We ate at the main lodge. The service was fast and friendly.Parking close to the main lift is easy. Lift prices are good. Great for familys. Can't wait to go back!
