Ski Homewood rises dramatically from Lake Tahoe's shores. You'll ski and ride on 100 runs - 50 of them marked with blue squares - along a vertical of 1,650 feet. The elevation at the summit is almost 8,000 feet. You will find lots of "local" riders at Homewood and some excellent snowboarding instruction.
Activities
Snowboarding: Snowboarding is allowed on all open trails including several terrain parks. Rentals and lessons are available on-site.
Lodging
A variety of lodges, hotels, motels, inns, and private rentals are all within driving distance of the ski area. Some properties offer ski and stay packages; call ahead for information.
