Description
Dodge Ridge has been a family favorite (family-owned, too) for Bay Area and Central Valley residents since it opened on the western slopes of the Sierra in 1951. There's good skiing and riding for all ability levels, with 20 percent beginner terrain, and 40 percent each for intermediates and advanced. The long Stagecoach run (two miles) is a signature. Snowfall is reliable as the resort's trails average between 300-500 inches of snow each year. The base area features a 16,000-square foot family lodge. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Dodge Ridge offers five freestyle terrain parks throughout the mountain. SuperFLY Progression Parks feature more than 20 new boxes, rails, and battleships. Cross Country Profile: Cross country and snowshoeing terrain available. LodgingThirty motels and lodges nearby.
