Bretton Woods fields a 1,500 foot vertical drop and 434 acres of terrain with nine lifts serving 101 trails and glades. This is a family favorite, very modern in style, and is famous for hosting the International Monetary Conference of yore in the Mount Washington Hotel. The resort has invested in snowmaking pumps and guns, and a new groomer this season. Nearby, is The Mount Washington Cog Railway Ski Trains. The 135-year old steam engines take skiers and riders part way up Mount Washington to groomed trails running parallel to the train trestle.ActivitiesSnowboarding: All 101 trails are open to snowboarders. Chutes, bumps, bowls, and glades, plus a halfpipe and acres of wide-open cruising terrain available for snowboarders. In addition to the terrain park on Bretton's Wood Trail, two new terrain parks will also be added to Rosebrook Meadow and Range View, for a total of three freestyle terrain areas.
