Boyne Highlands offers the most vertical, longest runs, and steepest terrain around. There is a 552-foot vertical spread over 270 acres with plenty of lodging at the base. Ski or ride day or night. It's near its sister, Boyne Mountain, as well. There's a 500-foot halfpipe to keep snowboarders happy and a high speed quad to help serve their 430 skiable acres. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding is allowed. Halfpipe and terrain parks.Cross Country Profile: Forty five kilometers of groomed track and trails.LodgingLodging within walking distance of slope: two lodges with 234 rooms and townhouse available; no overnight camper facilities. Main Lodge at the base has a restaurant and popular lounge.Winter RecreationNASTAR, cross country and ski touring, skating groomed trails, tubing park, ice skating, heated outdoor pool, saunas, evening entertainment and dancing.
