Not well thought out for boarders
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/8/10
Lots of flats! ok if you use ski poles but board hopping is not for me. You can tell its run by a skier. Lots of runs were fun but could use more features , natural or manmade since its a small mountain why not make the most of it. All said it has posibilities, just get a boarder in charge and see the difference. I would recommend it for a fun day.

Great skiing at the right price!
By Scott, 11/17/08
Our family of 4 from Indiana visited Bolton Valley last March on spring break in 2008. We ended up there because all of the bigger resorts in VT were booked, and we had already purchased airline tickets. We stayed at the Bolton Valley resort, which had several open rooms at the time, and is situated right at the bottom of the main lift area. While the rooms were nothing to right home about, and dining and entertainment options were limited, we loved the experience. It was perfect for our family because we don't all ski at the same level. I've been skiing for 25 years. My 9 year-old son has been skiing for two years, and my wife and 13 year-old daughter like the slow, easy runs. The variety of terrain, difficulty and length of the runs gave my son and I enough challenges for 3 days of hard skiing (from first chair to last), and there were enough long-slow runs to suit the girls. However, the resort is also small enough that we could easily meet the girls when we wanted so that it remained a family trip, not a seperate trip. Lift lines were almost non-existent as well, which was amazing considering it was the height of the spring break season. This place doesn't have all the glitz and size of the bigger Northeast resorts, but we would definitely go back.
