My default ski area close to Philadelphia
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/6/11
Best trails and vertical in this area. Decent snowmaking & grooming. They just upgraded their mid-mountain lodge with an outdoor firepit and lounge area. Nicely done. I agree with another post that says lift lines are poorly managed but that's not a problem on weekdays.

A mixed bag
Mountain: 4/5. Nice long runs for a smaller mountain, good beginner park Lift Operators: 2/5. I found they didn't pay much attention to their work. Lines were also frequently disorganized & chaotic Crowd: 2/5. Though the lift lines were never long, however, the slopes were always logjammed in many places. Clientle were mainly younger punks who stop in all the wrong places & could cause accidents. Food: 2/5. Typical, overpriced resort food, but with less variety than others. Lodge: 3/5. Very basic, but lots of room to change. Value: 3/5.

Great skiing and riding for all levels. Loved it!
By Lora, 1/27/10
It was much less crowded than other slopes, even on the week-end. The rental department, however, was a bit unorganized and messy. It is best to bring your ski or snowboard equipment with you, and purchase your lift tickets in advance. It will be a much more pleasant experience.
