Apex has a cozy village atmosphere, the area nestled at the base of a spectacular mountain. One of the hidden gems of Canadian skiing, Apex is located a short 30 minute drive from Penticton, BC, and gets about 600 cm of dry "Okanagan" powder each season. You will find 600 acres of fall line skiing and boarding. There are 67 trails, served by four lifts, and two terrain parks. ActivitiesSnowboarding: There are two terrain parks and a 700-foot superpipe with 17-foot high walls.Cross Country Profile: Fifty-two kilometers of cross country trails.LodgingNinety-room full service inn and 3-bedroom condominiums along with a RV park, all close to the lift. The new Apex Double Diamond Hotel is another alternative.Winter RecreationWorld Cup Aerial Site, New World Cup Mogul Course, Nght Skiing, Lift Accessed Tube Park, Outdoor Regulation Size Hockey/Skating Rink, 1 km Adventure Ice Skating Loop (maintained and lit).
