Howelsen ski area is the oldest ski area in continuous use in Colorado right in the middle of the town of Steamboat Springs. The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Training facility is located here, with five Nordic jumps, freestyle jumps and a slalom course.ActivitiesSnowboarding: Terrain park and half pipe. Rentals available in town. Cross Country Profile: Cross country terrain available on site. LodgingLodging available in town, 1 block away.Winter RecreationCross country, ice skating; FIS sanctioned ski jumping complex with 70 and 90 meter jumps.
