Holimont Ski Area, Ellicottville

Holimont is a semi-private ski resort which means that we non-members can only go during the week. It is, however, worth taking the day off. The skiing is as good as Holiday Valley but without the crowd so you don't spend most of your day waiting in long lines. Unless it's during the holidays, no one is there and you can usually ski right back onto the lifts. I love that you can take your own food and beverages including alcoholic drinks. Crockpots are very popular but they also have grills going so that you can barbecue. The past season I purchased a 10 pass for $180. You can't beat skiing for 18 bucks a lift ticket. You should definitely check this place out.
