While staying at the Royal Villa as the guest of an owner, we agreed (after several attempts to say no) to attend a 90 minute sales presentation. They promised us breakfast and to pay for one of our tours. We told them in no uncertain terms that we were not going to buy and that we were going to leave after 90 minutes.

Overall friendly staff and good location.
The bathroom was awful (dark, smelled bad, etc). The bathtub should've been changed a few years back.
This hotel has the harderst beds I've ever slept on. It was impossible to rest in them.

Nice hotel but you get bombarded by people who want to sell you time shares there. My dad had to yell at them "Leave us alone!!" Then they did. The hotel is very nice and the staff is excellent. A couple of items were out of order (safe/phone/alarm clock) due to the hotel being re-furnished. However the stay was still enjoyable and the hotel is located in the middle of the golden zone near restaraunts and shops. I would recommend this to my family and the price was excellent for the rooms. Every room truly does have an ocean view balcony.....
