Although this hotel was very hard to find for a first timer coming from Midway, once I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was immaculate. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The "in room" internet connection (for a fee) was a big plus. The only negative, which is an option, is the pricey valet parking at $36 per day. I would definitely go again and travel by cab.

The room was very nice with an excellent view of the skyline and the Chicago river. The location was good. Parking was a bit expensive.

We lucked out and got a fabulous view, surprisingly not of the River but of the city itself, including the John Hancock Building--I don't think we shut the curtains once. The Hampton Inn turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The employees were very friendly and gracious. The room was clean (except for a few spiders!) and very roomy. We were within walking distance of the Dome which was the reason for our stay.
