I stay here every time I am in Lake County. The staff is friendly and helpfull, and the rooms are spacious and clean with a decent amount of amneties. Try Karmas across the street while you are here for a great meal. I did notice they have new owners, and my rate was increased so hopefully that means some fresh updates and not greed on their part.

I really didn't like much about this hotel.
The price was fair and that's it!
The WHOLE hotel was outdated from the decor. to the broken games in the rec. room!
The front desk people obviously plastered a fake smile on their faces when you arrive and were not attentive to our needs even when they screwed up the reservation.
Avoid this dump at all costs and go to Lincolnshire Marriott!

I stayed here for one night because I was interviewing for a job nearby. It was ok. The rooms don't heat up enough for the cold climate in Chicago. They don't provide extra blankets in the rooms and for those who are traveling from coast to coast, it would be nice if they had room service rather than just vending machines. I have to go ...
