They were doing work on the hotel when I was there.
We had to park in another hotels parking garage which was expensive.
There was one young man who was extremely nice. He was the only one!!

Okay..it was a good hotel...nice people and good service. But wasn't too happy when they charged me twice for my stay. so be sure you check your account good when they charge you. But all in all in was a nice hotel.

This is the coolest older hotel i have ever been to! It was just recently renovated in Spring of 07, and it had a great rooftop pool that the kids loved. Harry Truman and Ulises Grant even stayed there in the forties and fifties. Will definitely go back again

This hotel ROCKS! We stumbled across it by accident and now refuse to stay anywhere else. The newly renovated rooms have flat screen TVs and super comfortable beds. Very charming hotel, but the room had some issues. The tank on the toilet wouldn't fill up until I opened the top and rotated the ballcock about a half of an inch. The sink was extremely slow draining (we're talking hours, not minutes) and one of the two TVs in the room wasn't operational. Luckily my wife and I only stayed for a single night, if it was to be longer we would have requested being moved to a different room.

we spent our 10th wedding anniversity in the presidenial suite, it was wonderful!

the hostess and everyone that worked there were very helpful, and friendly to us.

this will be the place for us to stay for our next visit to st. louis.
