They were doing work on the hotel when I was there. We had to park in another hotels parking garage which was expensive. There was one young man who was extremely nice. He was the only one!! The rest of the staff didn't seem to friendly. We probably came at a bad time because of the construction that was going on but I probably won't ...
I planned a 3 day regional meeting here for 12 people and it was a nightmare from the beginning. The reservations were screwed up, the hotel was not clean; the meeting room was a joke with the internet and phone not functional. Then to cap things off this hotel billed me the wrong amounts for every room. Once we got the room rates straightened ...
Recently the 48th Session of the General Conference of the AME Church was held in Missouri and most if not all of the delegates and observes for the conference stayed at the hotel. The first time i walked in the hotel i was astounded. the place really looked historic all it wanted was ghost to go with it...lol but anyway. we checked in and headed ...

Good Hotel ...But problem with billing..
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/08
Okay..it was a good hotel...nice people and good service. But wasn't too happy when they charged me twice for my stay. so be sure you check your account good when they charge you. But all in all in was a nice hotel.
I stayed at the Roberts Mayfair in August 2007, it looked like a great place online. Not Quite. Parking was AWFUL!! The entire floor we were on was under construction, there were black marks over all the walls. The room which we were given was nasty, the room smelled of mildew and there was mold on the floors, and in the tiles of the bathroom. The ...

Great Hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/07
This is the coolest older hotel i have ever been to! It was just recently renovated in Spring of 07, and it had a great rooftop pool that the kids loved. Harry Truman and Ulises Grant even stayed there in the forties and fifties. Will definitely go back again

WONT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/12/07
This hotel ROCKS! We stumbled across it by accident and now refuse to stay anywhere else. The newly renovated rooms have flat screen TVs and super comfortable beds. I've never had a single problem with any of my stays...and I've been there at least a dozen times. I would reccommend it to anyone who doesnt mind paying a bit more for a ...

Nice, but problems with the room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/07
Very charming hotel, but the room had some issues. The tank on the toilet wouldn't fill up until I opened the top and rotated the ballcock about a half of an inch. The sink was extremely slow draining (we're talking hours, not minutes) and one of the two TVs in the room wasn't operational. Luckily my wife and I only stayed for a single night, if it was to be longer we would have requested being moved to a different room.

this will be our place to stay while in st louis!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/07
my husband and I loved the roberts hotel.
we spent our 10th wedding anniversity in the presidenial suite, it was wonderful!
the hostess and everyone that worked there were very helpful, and friendly to us.
this will be the place for us to stay for our next visit to st. louis.
Don't waste your money on this "historic" hotel. I'm a frequent traveler and I can honestly say this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Shame on Wyndham. I've stayed at many other "historic" hotels and never had such a horrible experience as I did at the Mayfair.
