I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but wow were they wrong. Everything was perfect about our stay. The room was pricey but well worth it. I am a bit of a germ nut and never felt weird staying in this room at all. I felt like we were the only ones in the house and it was our own room. The next morning the breakfast was ...
My Fiance' and I were looking for the perfect location for a romantic wedding & we thought we found it when we visited the Barley Sheaf . At first glance the country setting seemed like the perfect location for an outdoor reception. We stopped by in March & spoke to the inn keeper & picked up some information. The gentleman who ...
After spending a fabulous honeymoon at the Barley Sheaf my husband and I decided to return for our first anniversary. Unfortunately the establishment seems to be declining with the economy. We were appalled and shocked to find plastic (yes, plastic) bags of muffins and banana bread on the counter as breakfast. There were NO staff onsite except ...

We got married 4 days before Thanksgiving and didn't want to go far from home for our honeymoon. We love New Hope and we saw the web site for Barley Sheaf and thought it looked like a great place. We stayed for three nights and had a great time! We stayed in the You Can't Take it With You Suite. It was amazing! The breakfast was out of ...
We just stayed at the all new Barley Sheaf Farm Estate & Spa, which has been totally renovated since the last time we were here. Our suite was top notch, luxury all the way, the country breakfast brunch was fantastic. The spa treatment was amazing. The staff and ambiance of this elegant estate nade our weekend magical.
We thought the grounds were lovely and the New Hope area is fabulous with alot of great shopping and restaurants. The Inn was not very busy at the time of our stay but yet we found we were not at all happy with the service. There were only 2 other guests there at the time of our stay and they too were not thrilled with the service. We both agreed that the prices are too high for what you get.
We recently stayed at the Inn and found it to be dusruptive with construction going on. We also did not find the Inn itself to be very clean. They advertise a delicious breakfast with home baked goods, which we found to be much less than mediocre.
