We have stayed at the Rosartito Beach Hotel MANY times, we have stayed in all areas, even the newer condos. The main hotel is an older, charming place, GREAT food, we especially enjoy Chaberts, helpful, friendly staff, but being older it may not be up to some peoples expectations, it is not perfect, we however love it, and will be there again next ...

It was great, the staff was very friendly, and everything is in there, not much need to go out. The azteca restaurant is excellent!!! The hotel is old, but clean, unless you go to the new one. My family and I had a great time. The Rosarita kareoke was great , we all loved that!! And we got it for 50 dlrs a night and third was free!!

Charm of Old Hollywood in Mexico
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/22/08
This is an old hacienda converted to a hotel with condos and timeshares. We stayed in the timeshare portion and are going back for the 4th time because we like it so much. It is OLD, but extremely charming with the best location you can ask for. You are right on the beach. The grounds are tropical and totally fenced in so that you can feel safe ...

For first timers it's the only place to start
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/07
It's an old hotel, thus the style is old fashioned but they are building a new condo style addition. The good thing is the great food in elegant restaurants, swimming and jacuzzi, shopping immediately in front of the hotel. By the way, I met the owners daughter who is the Mexico and Panamerican champion for racket ball so try out the racket ball court and get in shape.

WORST HOTEL I'VE STAYED AT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/07
This hotel has the worst customer service in the world. I went to go complain because there was alot of noise in the hallway at 3am and the manager pretty much told me too bad so sad. I became a little agitated by him and he practically told us to leave the hotel NOW. at 3 a.m knowing perfectly well we would never find another room at that time. ...

Viva Rosarito Beach Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/07
I love the Rosarito Beach Hotel. The hotel offers fantastic deals, especially if you can go during the week. There's a rustic, old-timey, laid back feel to the place that you can't get in the states. The pool is lovely, there are plenty of chaises and great, fresh guacomole and margaritas, which could be stronger, but they're cheap, ...
Nice hotel at a nice price. Location is good, right on the beach and the included dinner makes the price a deal. Plus it is close to Puerto Nuevo [lobster village}, which is a plus for us.
