Fabulous conference experienceThe staff who attended to the conference participants were awesome. We had wonderful breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day. The hotel lobby is huge with big comfy chairs to relax or catnap during breaks. I had a peek at the pool area that looked very clean and inviting. Interesting LocationThe hotel is easy to find off I-25, and is adjacent to San Mateo. It's within walking distance to a Starbucks if you don't mind walking on a section of roadway squeezed against a guardrail. A bike / running trail is close to the hotel, but the hotel staff have no clue how to get there. There is no straight-forward access to the trail. ...1 of 1 Yahoo! Very disappointingI spent three nights at the Nativo. When returning to the lodge at the end of the second day, my room had not been touched! A call did result in clean towels being sent up after an apology. Also, there were no regular coffee pods available for the next morning; something about a shipment not arriving.

interesting decorWe stayed at the Nativo in March 2006.The lobby has a nice layout and intersting native themed things to look at. The rooms are nice for the money. Great comfortable beds and pillows.Location is close to restaurants but also to the expressway which made our room facing it a bit noisey. The people working the restaurant are very nice. Really Captures the Southwest SpiritAs a first time visitor to Albuqueque, I'd reserved a room in a clean, nice but mundane chain hotel. I saw an ad for this hotel with other hotels being spotlighted for the TriCentenial, called to reserve a room and moved the same day. This place is beautiful! Good valueTheir website would have you believe the Nativo Lodge is an upscale boutique hotel. It isn't. However, the hotel has been completely renovated and offers a nice value. Think of it like a Hampton or a Fairfield, except with nicer, local decor.

Well it's not bad....They were still remodeling, so I cannot give a totally accurate depiction of the place. The pools were closed, and I had to change rooms because the airconditioner was broken. Avoid like the plague!!!When checking in, we noticed that there was construction tape blocking most of the front lobby area. We were then told that the restaurant/lobby area was undergoing renovation and that the restaurant had only a limited menu available. The curtains in our room had holes in them. The sink was very slow draining.
