If you have ever seen the Martin Scorsese's movie The Age of Innocence you may recall a scene where the camera is panning slowly through a hotel lobby to show the decadence of the era. That hotel is the Fairmont Copley Plaza. The first time I stayed there I remember opening the door to the room and seeing a large sitting room with windows on ...

I liked the scenery. I disliked the price. I liked the relaxing environment. There was a lot of privacy that I also enjoyed. The doorsmen were nice, and always available. They didn't wait for tips which I personally thought was respectful and delightful. Hope this helps.
great hotel great location and great city we will revisit very soon great location this is one exceptional hotel in a very exceptional city just enjoy it and have a good time there is not too many cities like this one in america very european
We absolutely LOVED this hotel and wish we could have stayed both there, and in the city of Boston longer than we did. There is so much to do and most of it is in walking distance from the hotel (with a metro stop very close by, just in case). This luxurious hotel was spectacular! The rooms were pristine, in cleanliness and comfort. The staff ...
I am glad that I send my friends to this hotel. There is no way to make a mistake. They will all be satisfied at the end of their visti to Boston. Believe me, all my friends come mostly from europe. Very demanding especially if they are Germans or Suiss. It is an excellent place to hang out and have a happy hour or even a steak at the oak bar. To the managers...Please guys! keep up with your service quality!
There are more modern and more hip hotels in Boston and there are better values, but the Fairmont is still my favorite. I love the older, historical feel of the hotel, the location and especially Boston's (IMHO) best (albeit a tad stuffy) hotel bar, the Oak room.
Not terribly suitable for the kids, but a great option that is in a great location.
