Just be aware that when staying at this resort to check to see if there is a wedding before you go. If so and they have rented the poolside and the bar for their reception - the poolbar will be closed to other hotel guests and you may be laying out by the pool with a party going on.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/08
THIS IS BY FAR THEY NICEST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED IN AND I HAVE COVERED THIS CONTINENT AND MOST OF EUROPE AND CARRIBEAN! THE MORNING BREAKFAST IS AMAZING. A Beautiful Spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/08
This was my first stay on the island of Captiva, and I found Tween Waters to be a truly beautiful, friendly, and welcoming resort. My room faced the ocean with a truly splendid view each day. I have stayed in condos on the island of Sanibel before, but I must say I enjoyed Tween Waters Inn much more. It was cozy, the food was excellent, and the ...

A good time was had by all....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/07
The beauty of the area was remarkable. The view of the stars at night from the beach(a convenient jot across the street)was my favorite, along with sitting on the cottage screened porch and listening to music and the sound of the waves. Breakfast was great, lunch spent at the pool bar or in the room, and dinner was either at the Crow's nest ...

FLEA PROBLEMS & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
By guiafamily, 07/17/07
We stayed in a 1 bedroom room for 3 nights at a rate of $170.00 per night. ($566.00 total for our 3 day stay.)I must first state that I felt like I had stepped straight into the early 80's upon entering our room. Very outdated and also not very clean. There was a stain on the carpet that looked like an outline of a body marking. (Coconut ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/07
During Spring Break 2007, my girlfriend and I cruised down the Intracoastal Waterway from Clearwater Beach to stay at the Tween Waters Resort. Though we stayed on board our boat, this review lets everyone know what you'll expect, minus the room.
After the terrible 2004 hurricane season, when three storms cris-crossed Florida, we were ...

Gulf of Mexico Paradise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/07
Aside from the beautiful beach and warm tranquil water this place has it all. From gulf front to bay I couldn't have been more impressed with the property and it's comfortable tropical feel. Much different than the chain resorts you find on parts of Sanibel and Captiva. There are historic cottages which we will try to stay in next ...
Just loved the "laid back" lifestyle. Shells, shells, shells. The friends with me had lived in The Azores and said this was by far the better of the beaches.

Summer on Captiva
By CoolBaybeeBrat, 04/17/06
Wow what a resort! Scenery is beautiful- rooms are nice. There was still a bit of construction going on from the hurricanes of the year before around the island- but not enough to make a difference. I learned early on that in South west Florida there are these terrible little things called no-seums. (dont know if i spelled that right) They come ...
