Very nice, clean, helpful staff. This hotel is close to freeway (805) so most attractions are quite accessible. The maintenance staff was very polite and helpful. We stayed in the "Jr. Suite" BTW. For the price, we felt, a nice family friendly place to stay.

Stayed two nights in July, 2008. Very convenient to (805). Reception was slow but only because the nice gentelman was being overly pleasant to new guests, which was good to see. My 93 year old blind aunt loved it. We got a smoking room because there were no non-smoking rooms available. IT was terribly noisy. Kids were running up and down the hallway. The breakfast was just OK. The fruit wasn't very good. The coffee machine was good. It's a great location for me and that's the only reason I'd stay here.

This is an old property being refurbished. New bathrooms, excellent bed & pillows, excellent TV. Table with two chairs in the room - needed for playing cards or working - but often missing from hotels. The hotel itself was fine. Not a top notch establishment, but what I expected for the price paid and the location. The service was fantastic, but a $200.00 deposit for a wireless internet hub was a bit steep in my opinion.

The kicker, and reason I won't go back, is the Health Code plaque posted in the Elevator Lobby on each floor. ...
