I am sitting with my husband tonight watching I Love You, Man; being a great movie it strikes a bad memory of this hotel. I was on my honeymoon with my husband and we were looking for a nice place to stay because we had tickets to see Chelsea vs Team America. The Dallas Cowboys Stadium recommends this spot on their website so we went to check it ...
This place is beautiful. Well maintained and clean. I did not have a problem with noise and my view was wonderful. The food was excellent and reasonable in price. I have no compliants. I was there thru Maximum Sports Connection, to see the Cowboys, so I did not pay the hotel directly.

Get to know your Neighbors
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/09
Very impressive and enjoyable. Complaints are you can hear everything your neighbors talk about.. I know the name of the parents and children next to us withoutever seeing them. Don't go to River Walk to eat. They give you small salad plates to eat on and you get tired going back and forth to get enough to eat, and the food is not that good.
they charge $15 per day for the use of their workout room, newspaper, and bottle of water in room $16 to self park and $24 for valet (daily fee) Outdoor pool is EXTREMELY small for a resort this size. We couldn't get a chair or get in the pool. Walls are thin between rooms. We were woke up by a screaming baby at 6:30am, and then their ...
I took my husband for their "Just the two of us" package. I bought it with one of their gift certificates. When we made the reservation they asked for a credit card to hold the room, no problem I gave it to them. When we checked in I let them know I had bought a gift certificate from them for this certain package. Then they need to see a ...
When I made my reservations, I booked a room with a king bed. When I arrived I got a room with 2 queen beds. The view that I got wasn't what I had in mind and was able to upgrade to an interior room with a view to the atrium, however, again with 2 queen beds. When I inquired about this the response I got was that there was a ...

Walls as thin as paper!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/08
The Gaylord Texan does a nice job recreating a scaled down version of the "Riverwalk" but customer service is not it's strong point. If you don't mind incredibly high prices for dining, parking, and accommodations then this is your hotel. In our room, we could hear every word of conversation from our next door neighbors which ...
I've had the pleasure of staying here numerous occasions over the last year. I have been really pleased with the consistency in service and cleanliness. The Texan Station restaurant is a great place to watch a game and get your people watching in too. My only complaint would be the parking charge, although that can be taken care of just by getting a validation ticket when you eat/drink at the hotel.

Little Texas

I loved the courtyard with the river walks, fountains and waterfalls. The coffee shop was my favorite haunt. The meeting rooms were pretty far away from the guest rooms but walking is healthy and I didn't have to deal with rain or muggy weather so I found it very delightful. The service was friendly, courteous and abundant. The gift shops ...

Proud to be a Texan!

The hotel is like an "Oasis." It has everything you need under one roof, and is in close proximinity to Bass Pro, Grapevine Mills Shopping Mall, all the major highways to Dallas or Fort Worth, and DFW airport.
Being from Texas, I had an occasion to stay at the Gaylord and I can say I was very "PROUD" to tell my neighbors in Missouri how "BIG" even the hotels are in Texas!
