The location is good for the conference center, but otherwise a bit too far from city center. There are a couple of restaurants (including one in the hotel) that are walkable, but not the options within city center. Rooms are smallish ... Great location for SECC area

Vary helpful staff, after I checked out in the morning they went to a lots of trouble that evening to ensure that I got a taxi enabling me to attend all the conference and get my train home.
Really comfortable rooms, very clean, nice to have a nice selection of goodies to choose from in your room - next time I will take my favourite DVD as each ...

We booked a table for dinner in the restaurant prior to going to a concert at the SECC. When we sat down we were given a set menu, �16.95 for two courses . i can not fault this hotel every time i have gone the service has been great apart from one occasion i got billed for the bar and i did not take anything from it. i advised the staff of this they removed it from my billl with no questions asked and wheni suggested a slip you need to sign when you take something from the bill they implemented this ...
