Stayed here twice in Oct 2006. Am fully satisfied. Cost about $50-60 for a double room but was worth it. Will definitely stay there again. Did not eat there so can't comment on the restaurant or food. The ambience was good and the pool clean, unlike some other places.

We stood at the place 2 nights in January 2007 and were impressed by the tidiness and the speedy and efficient service. Breakfast and dinner (buffet) are recommendable.
The landlady (she´s the head of the hotel, her husband is doing other business) rules a though regime and knows how to lead her employees.

super restaurant (interesting colonial dinner buffet), interior, art, textiles, furniture, cat, ambiance and price. it was freezing and we had a fan heater so were very snuggly.
things you actually want to buy at the shop.
don't go there if you like helpful, gushing staff. i liked them.

warm welcome, professionally run by an ex Army officer, grand old style building with traditional Indian hospitality.

I loved my experience and would definitely go back some day.
