We searched for several years for a vacation spot we'd want to return to year after year. At Fenske Lake, we found it. The lake is gorgeous, and there are just a few cabins. Very quiet. The swimming, fishing, and canoeing are great, and we love to end the day in their lakeside sauna. Highly recommend!

I noticed a negative review and just wanted to clarify that the ownership of this resort has changed since their visit, and it was for the best! I would encourage them to try Fenske Lake Cabins again. Unbelievably clean cabins. We stayed in 2 different ones one older one newer both were spotless. It's so quiet and peaceful yet close enough to town if you need supplies. Watch out the grocery store closes at 7pm during the week. There was plenty to do even on rainy days. Would definately recommend these cabins!

Great place to stay! This is a place where you can get away from all the sounds of city life, peace and quiet. You are able to see a lot of cool things and go hiking to almost anywhere. Host is great and cabins are excellent. Great sunsets and pretty good fishing.

What a great place to listen to the loons ,sit on the dock in peace and quiet with the sunset shining in your eyes.. the fishing was great , the falls and trails at Fall Lake were wonderful ...our cabin was so cozy and beautiful with the fireplace ,screened porch and cute decor.. the Eilrich's were very accomodating and made our stay a very relaxing and great getaway..we definitely will come again .

If you want a 'wilderness' experience, yet close to 'town'(restaurants, bars, even a casino nearby) this is the place. The cabins are comfortable - the new owners have upgraded - new, larger piers for fishing or
