Worth every penny and then some. Sunset from the "rock" was spectacular. Away from all the hustle & bustle of downtown. Being right acrcoss the street from the golf course is a nice little plus too.

I like the fact is was clean new and had good amenities. if you don't stay in the mansion you have ac, a microwave. great breakfasts. its like the experience of the grand. great view. and the pool bar has good food for dinner. at a good price.
only problem is, is that it is far away from town. but with the price and all the other great stuff I didn't care.
We have been going to Mackinaw Is. every year for the past 10 years. The last 3 years we have stayed at the Stonecliff Inn. THis is a great place to stay. They have a variety of rooms to choose from. THe grounds are spacious and it's off the beaten path. But you still can ride your bike or take the taxi back into the town. The staff is ...

We booked six rooms at Stonecliffe last fall for a customer golf outing. The off season rate - mid September - was very reasonable and the weather perfect.
