My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Providence for 4 nights. We enjoy staying in boutique style resorts. This one was top notch. The service at the front desk was second to none! (thanks to Matt). Aspire, the hotel's restaurant was suggested. Before turning in for the night, we made our way down to the bar. We were greeted by the smiling ...
Great location, walking distance to everything. Providence Performing Arts Center is just at the end of the street. Rooms were huge compared to more expensive places I have stayed and appointed wonderfully. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Short 10 minute walk to Little Italy from hotel. Johnson Wales Univ is just a few blocks away. Didn't eat in restaurant but prices were not bad.
This hotel has a great location, very friendly staff and is very clean and updated. Highly recommend it and can't wait to come back!

Not a cookie cutter hotel by any means, but has its ups and downs. Wonderful front desk staff and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast menu at L'Epicurio was limited. This is a great place for those attending events at the nearby Dunkin Donuts Center or PPAC.
Not as large as the on-line pictures suggest. No breakfast until 8:00 AM and none available in the area until 8:00. No other complaints; perfect service, comfortable and luxurious room, and many attractions near by. Would consider no other hotel for future visits.

Great room, bed, bedding, bathroom. Very clean. Reasonable price. Close to the schools to visit our daughter. Basic gym but acceptable. Excellent breakfast. This was our second stay and we will be back.

The Hotel Providence is a great hotel. I was in the city for 3 out of 4 weeks in January and stayed here on business for one full week and then half of another. After staying somewhere else and hating it (ahem, Biltmore), I gave it go here and loved it.
This hotel may not offer a continental breakfast, but it does own up to it's 4 diamond, ...

Hotel Providence was nothing but elegant. The Hotel offers top quality amenities such as marble floors and plush down comforters, while creating a serene and relaxing ambiance in each suite. Centrally located in downtown Providence, we were within walking distance of theatre’s, shopping, and fabulous dining. Overall, the experience was one worth repeating.
