I love the hospitality, the kindness, the benefits of the different types of horses there are to ride, etc. They've always treated us with respect and treat my aunt, who's boarderline retarded with complete respect. They have large horses for large people to ride, such as Smokey, Zena and Maggie. They have ponies such as Little Bear and ...

Good for a Day Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/09
MBD is very worn out and in need of repair and maintenance in several places; the pool was a murky green so we didn't use it. Cabins were, well, still standing. Linens clean but thin and needing replacment. Cowboys, horses, food, mess hall, wait staff all very good. The trails are through muddy rocky forest. Again, wait staff & cowboys very good & helpful.
We just came for the day, and WOW! What a great deal! $50 per person for all day of guided horseback riding AND lunch! That's a deal that can't be beat. We'll definitely be back!

Worst Place I've ever been!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/09
This place is in need of repair. No air conditioning, no radio, not even a box of tissues in the place. Came home with bug bites all over my body. Rustic, old and dilapitated. I couldn't wait to get out of the place and come home. Would never go back again.

horses and camping
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/09
This place is for the camper who likes to ride horses. Very old, rustic, and campy! Bring your own bedlinen, and plastic mattress pad. It makes it easier.........flipflops for feet, no bare feet on the carpets.. Boots and old clothing.. rustic, rustic, old cabins and lodging...... Food good, home cooking, simple menu, poor dessert selection ;(, ...
LETS SEE, WHAT DID WE LIKE ABOUT IT, UH, N O T H I N G! NOTHIN BUT A BUNCH OF REDNECKS THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR GUEST. THE BUGS THERE WERE TREATED LIKE KINGS WHILE GOOD PAYING CUSTOMERS WERE TREATED LIKE THE PEOPLE THAT WORKED THERE, LIKE CRAP!! THIS PLACE SUCKS!
This place is awesome. They treat you like family Not quite sure about some of the previous comments. The rooms were comfortable and the cabins rustic. It is a working ranch, not the Hilton. It is worth every cent. Your meals are included plus unlimited riding and activities. If you're bored than you're really not in the spirit of ...
It was so shabby and dilapidated that I did not want to place my bags down for fear of infestation. I ended up spraying the beds with insect repellent before I can even put anything down. The accomodations were horrible. The pool was freezing eventhough it was the peak of summer. Other guests mentioned that the windows in their rooms don't even ...
