We camped at Glen Echo in the late 90s early 00's. It WAS a very nice campground owned by two friendly fellows who built the resort. Camped here again (in fifth wheel) in 2006; Discovered, the guys had sold it to a family, who were not maintaining campground, cabins or rv sites. Room dirty. Furniture completely worn out. Open and close hours incorrectly posted.{in room} T.V. worked ok. Coffe maker worked ok. Help seemed to not much care about anything, go if you must but you have been warned.

Don't even think of camping here

If you are planning to go for tent camping here, do not even think about it. This is the worst ever tent campsite I have ever seen. The one we got (68C) was among huge parked RV's, and right behind the bathroom. It is a very small place, shared with two other tent sites. The river is neither visible, nor accessible from the site. Beautiful resort on river. Friendliest owners I have met, yet.Very clean,with a variety of accomidations. From modern penthouse to cozy rustic units. A dreamy resort.
