We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room and accommodations were perfect and comfortable, as well as extremely clean. We stayed 6 nights, overlapping the end of July and first week of August 2008. The entire staff was very pleasant and friendly, and the service was superior. The price for the level of accommodations was fair and appeared typical for the area and time frame. We plan to stay there again on our next visit.

Upon taking the online tour and with referral from a Stanely hotel employee we were looking forward to our stay at the Appenzell. Upon our arrival we were given a room in "our new addition "which was at the back of a building, ground level and no view except for a fence.
