we stayed there two nites in December...and the room we had was charming and romantic. The staff showed us several rooms and they are each different and charming...I would go back in a minute.. this is what a hotel should be!!! also clean and cozy !!!
I just recently stayed at the Annabelle Inn. I wish that the Inn Keeper would have told us upon reserving, that the last week of winter season is so bleak. Lots of places were closed or closing. We stayed in rm 101. If they tell you that the street noise in minimal...it's not. Snow plows and cars are maybe 20 ft from your window and door. ...
Freezing cold room. Telephone didn't work and had to be replaced. Trying to call room-to-room resulted in two 911 calls and a visit from the sheriff. Rude, condescending staff, perticularly the innkeeper. We left something in the room when we checked out and cannot get them to respond. Spend your money elsewhere. Aspen is too costly to put up with this kind of "service."
