The only place I'd prefer to stay while visiting the Russian River and/or the Sonoma Wine Country.
This historical hotel offers beyond beautiful views, phenomenal service, unique upscale dinning, comfortable clean rooms, and a sense of undying romance.

great location, terrible experience

Rooms had paper thin walls and expect to wake up whenever your neighbor decides to take a shower. We had cobwebs on window frames. Owner doesn't seem to reallly care. Dining room is gorgeous. Location is great. Price too high for rooms quality and experience.

Disappointing

Tiny, tiny rooms. Bathroom had just a shower and toilet. The incredibly small pedestal sink stood in the corner of the incredibly small room. The room, however, was very clean. But there's no air conditioning, and on a hot summer night it was impossible to sleep, even with the window open. The dining room is lovely, but the service was terrible (it took us 40 minutes to get our salad after we ordered it). The food was at best OK.
