We stayed at Edgewater for the 20007 Kentucky Derby and will stay there again. The cottages are nicer than any typical hotel room, it had a hot tub, gas fireplace, a spa, and the shuttle service they provide was easy and very inexpensive compared to some of the other places we stayed. We will be back!

This place was so wonderful, especially the Spa. The staff was very pleasant upon arrival, the cottages were beautifully decorated, and sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars was so peaceful. We went out on the canoes, hiked the trails, and finished our night with massages at Edgewater's Spa. The staff was very accomodating when we needed to change our time to launch the canoes. I loved the blue cottage we stayed in!

These brand new cottages are located on the shore of Taylorsville Lake, just a short distance from Louisvlle, KY. The interiors are comfortable, extremely well appointed and very clean. This is the only nice place to stay on Taylorsville Lake and views are gorgeous! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative is that the resort is still being built. They said it will be completed by next summer and it will be VERY nice--great place for families--lots for kids and adults to do.
