Sequoia LodgeI found this place just driving by...talk about luck. The room that was left was the room with 2 twins. Great room, clean, and comfortable. The rate was about $100 per night, which is reasonable considering it is right on the river. Great little general store across the street. I liked the little touches...i.e. popcorn. On the Kern RiverI stayed at Sequoia Lodge for 3 nights and did not want to leave. The place is spotless and is right on the river. While I was there, the fish truck came in and stocked the river. Fishing was great, service was great, and my room was the cleaniest I have ever seen in a motel!! Brenda informed me that they have a new website at ...6 of 6 Yahoo!
