Mt. Baldy Ski Patrol is Great!!The Mt. Baldy Ski Patrol has got to be the best bunch of people in the entire organization. They are all excellent skiers, great first aiders, and wonderful ambassadors for the mountain.
These guys are there at 7 a.m. and in winter take a last hill sweep well after dark. They're all volunteers and they're up there regardless of weather conditions.

Tough local skiing!I have to say that Mt. Baldy offers some of the most challenging runs in Southern Californa. The black diamond runs are truly difficult. I went with my brother last year and we had a great time. It's very close to Los Angeles taking us about an hour to get there. The staff at the lodge was very friendly.
