my family and i have stayed at the sea sprite for the past 5 years. the staff is very nice and the views of the motels are breath taking! it may seem pricey to some people but actually its a great price for everything it offers! the little beach house is great and so are the other motels..i defiantly recommend this to anyone that wants to visit hermosa beach!!

Poor rooms, bedding, and overall condition.

The real "ace" is the manager James, don't waste your oxygen expecting him to do his job.

Awesome place to stay for the price. Almost literally right on the sand! Nice little pool on site. Perfect for people watching as they roller blade, skateboard, jog, walk, etc. Great restaurants nearby.

The staff was nice on the phone, indifferent to rude in person. The baths and kitchen were clean in a dingyish way; water stains on the ceilings, dirty couch covers, and dust-crusted drapes. The toilet kept running one night and soaked the carpet; we were handed a stack of towels, told to throw them down, and noone came to clean up the mess. ...

While this is clearly not a new hotel, it is RIGHT on the boardwalk/beach and you can walk to great shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time. Also, where they filmed the "spring break" episode of the Gilmore Girls, so that was funny seeing the rooms we had stayed in on a tv show! Definitely would/will go again.

The location is perfect, right on the beach, next to the pier, next door to scottys resturant and shops right around the corner. Lots of walkers, runners, skaters going by on the strand. Always a vollyball tournament going on to watch. Now about the hotel, if you don't make a reservation, I have heard rumors, the staff will only rent the more ...

You don't stay in your room so why not have a great local

Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful. The overall property seemed well maintained and clean. Manager James really knows his business, made our families stay a real pleasure.
