KIDS WERE HAPPYI JUST RETURNED FROM SBRC AT TYBEE, CONDO WAS FINE, DECORATED NICELY, BUT ROOM HAD A UNCLEAN FEELING, LAST DAY WE WERE THERE BATHROOM CEILING STARTED LEAKING, DID NOT LIKE THE FACT HAD TO WASH YOUR OWN TOWELS AND BATH CLOTHS EVERY DAY. MY KIDS WERE HAPPY THOUGH, PLAYED IN WATER WITH DOLPHINS, WISH BEACH THERE WAS MORE SAND THAN MUD.OVERALLServiceCleanlinessLocationValue

Had a blastWe stayed in 211A and rented from Tybee Vacation Rentals and they were great, ask for Dan, he was so nice and helpful. Do Not Stay Here!The Savannah Beach & Raquet Club was the a HUGE disapointment. The hallways were disgusting, the room has a view of the parking lot and the apartments were small and lackluster. The pool and the beach were the only pluses to the SBRC. I would never stay here again and wish I could get my money back.OVERALL

Beach/Pool What more could you ask?We stayed in 113B June 2008. It was confortable and convenient to the pool and beach. I have never seen more dolphins at any beach 12+ everyday.
Local restaurants are fabulous. You must go to the Crab Shack and Uncle Bubba's (Paula Dean's brother).

relaxingThis was our second time staying at SBRC.We rented our condo on the internet. It is a great place to stay, just remodeled it was very clean and had every thing we asked for. But keep in mind when you rent a condo there all owned by ind. Before you rent look at the pictures and ask questions.It is quiet and very relaxing we will stay again. Thanks Jeannie3 of 3 Yahoo! Will not stay again!The condo we stayed in at this resort was dirty, rundown and shabbily furnished. It was advertised for up to 6 people and with just the two of us, we felt crowded. The stove was so dirty I would not have considered using it and the refrigerator had a bad odor. The bathroom was dirty although stocked with clean towels. Condominium PropertySavannah Beach & Racquet Club is not a hotel. It is a condominium property, individually owned. Many of the owners rent their condos through various sources. Don't waste your money!We went there on 6/20 and had reservations until 6/23. We left on 6/22. This place says it is oceanside. It is more inland than anything. Also, our condo was dirty. There were dead bug everywhere and spider webs. The worst part is that a bug fell on me while I was trying to sleep. I called and left a message to please come spray our condo ...2 of 4 Yahoo! What a sensational location!Staying at Savannah Beach & Racquet Club is a wonderful way to enjoy the island. We rented a condo through vrbo.com and enjoyed all the beauty of the north side of the island - deserted beach, easy access, the Lighthouse, fabulous restaurants nearby, and we rode our bicycles to the other end of the island for some shopping.
