I got charged a night even though I cancelled four days in advance. If you read in the small print they reserve the right to charge you an administrative fee if you cancel a reservation. The fee is a full night $45.00

It wasn't the best place that we have stayed. For a campground of this size - there was only 9 bathhouses/bathrooms. And the ones nearest our camper were small, cramped (you could sit on the toilet and brush your teeth!) and not very clean. We had to ride to the larger set of bathhouses. This was our first time at Rivers End. Overall it was ok but the bath houses were vert dirty. They are not cleaned well at all. We have camped here off and on for several years now! We always have such a wonderful time. Everyone is so nice. We have never had any trouble with neighbors, noisy.... We rent bikes, walk, surf, drive into Savannah to take the tours, shop, eat.... If we could move to the campground to live, we probably would! We get "homesick" for this place when we have to come home! I highly recommend this campground!

We have stayed at Rivers End twice now, and are heading back in a few days. Stayed several days on our first trip, enjoyed the lighthouse tour, visited Ft. Scriven and the beach. Walked into town and had a great seafood dinner.
